When in low power mode certain device functions will be limited.
The GPS module in your unit will turn on every 15 mins when in LMP. At this time your unit will check geolocation and will report if there is a violation. Therefore, you will not receive an instant geofence alert at the time of the instance but instead at the 15min check in point for the GPS module.
The system will wake up to check for wireless sensor alerts once an hour. If there is an alert during the time in which the system has checked then you will be notified. If the alert came and went before/after the point of the 1hr check in interval then it will be missed.
The system will wake up briefly every 5 mins and check for any sms messages sent to the device. This would mean things such as a firmware update, arming/disarming, and switching from the various low power modes will not go through until the 5 min device check in. If a message is pushed to the unit in between these 5 mins it will queue in the cloud and go through at the 5 min mark.
Once every second your Siren Marine unit will wake up and check the status of the following hardwired sensors:
High Water 1
High Water 2
Security 1
Security 2
Security 3
Shore Power
Ignition
Should any of these be in alert, you will be notified.
